Send us a photo of your dog, pedigree or mixed breed, and our panel of judges (the wife & I) will choose which we think makes the best sign. The best photo of the month will win a copy of Lorraine's book and not only that... a downloadable sign with your dog 'as the STAR' to replace any signs you have bought in the past.

The winner will be announced on the first of the month EVERY MONTH

Runners Up? Why not. Two runners up will also be sellected. They will receive a replacement sign (with their own dogs image) for any signs they have purchased the month they entered.

Tips for Entrants

  • The photo must be .jpg
  • Any photo will do but posed or seemingly posed is better, ie running through a field with long grass won't win...lol
  • By all means look in your family album but ideally take a photo that shows off your dogs attributes, (you could take the photo with a white sheet in the background).
  • All entrants must agree to terms and conditions below.

We reserve the right to use any picture in the future for one or all of our products. (so you may even end up with a star in the house after all)
One prize of  Lorraine Winslet's Complete Guide to Dogs worth $39.97* plus replacement signs, will be announced on the first of the month.
*If in the unlikely event we do not recieve any entries that are suitable we reserve the right to roll the prize over to the next month and offer the book to 2 winners.
Our home is on a busy road and we had a problem of visitors leaving the gates open constantly, even though we had a
'please shut the gate sign'. About 3 years ago we made a homemade sign which read For Dog’s Sake – Shut the Gate with a
photo of Ella & Jim on it.
It worked… No-one left the gate open ever again
